Download Norton Device Security

Follow these easy instructions to download Norton Device Security on your devices:

  • Open Norton’s official website on your browser.
  • Next, you have to Log in to your account.
  1. In case you have an existing Norton account, then enter the email id and password for your Norton account, tap the cursor on Log In.
  2. If you don’t have any existing Norton account, then create a new Norton account by tapping on the Sign-up button, fill in the details like your first name, last name, email id, etc., and click on Create Account to continue.

  • You will be redirected to the My Norton Portal, find and double-tap over the Download option there.

  • Then, you have to Open the Get Started page, choose Agree & Download to proceed.

  • In the Security & Privacy window, tap the lock icon at the bottom.
  • Whenever you see any indication, enter your administrator account password, and then tap the cursor on Unlock.
  • In the Norton installation window, tap Continue and then tap Allow to give Norton permission to monitor all the network activities and block malicious websites from accessing your Mac.
  • In the Norton installation window, click Open Preferences to authorize  Norton to access your disk to provide comprehensive protection.
  • You will be then redirected to Security & Privacy window; make sure that the Norton System Extension option is turned On. Navigate back to the Norton installation window and tap the cursor on Complete.

Install Norton device security on macOS 10.15.x(Catalina) or later

  • Click Install.
  • In few cases, Norton gives you invites to be a part of the Norton Community Watch, which takes data related to the potential security risks from your computer and sends the information to Norton for analysis. You can tap Learn More to get more information about Norton Community Watch.
    • Tap Join Now to turn On the Norton Community Watch on your Norton product.
    • Tap on Maybe Later to be a part of the Norton Community Watch later.
  • On getting the on-screen instructions, enter your administrator account password, and then tap the cursor on Install Helper.
  • In case you find the System Extension Blocket alert on your screen, tap OK.
  • In the Norton installation window, tap Open Now.
  • In the Security & Privacy window, tap the cursor on the lock icon given at the bottom part of the window interface, and then enter your administrator account password.
  • Tap Unlock.
  • Choose any one of these two:
    • Tap Allow corresponding to the Symantec message.
    • In case you have multiple software or vendor installed on your Mac that needs your authorization, then you see Some system software was blocked from loading alert besides Symantec message. In that situation, tap Allow, choose Symantec in the list, and then tap on OK.

(Tip: In case you do not see the Allow button, then close and reopen the Security & Privacy window to view the Allow option.)

  • Tap on the Restart button.
  • After restarting the Mac, you have to find the Open Preferences option in the Norton installation window.
  • As soon you see the Security & Privacy window, tap on the Lock icon at the bottom.
  • If you see any on-screen instructions, follow them by entering your administrator account password and then tap on Unlock.
  • Click Allow corresponding to the Norton message, go back to the Norton installation window, and after that, tap the cursor on Continue.
  • In the Norton installation window, tap on Open preferences to authorize the Norton to access your disk for best ever protection.
  • In the Security & Privacy window, make sure that the Norton System Extension option is turned off. Then, go back to the Norton installation window and tap on complete.

Install Norton Device Security On Android

  • Launch the Google Play application; you can find and download Norton from the Google Play application with ease.
  1. You are now taken to the Google Play Store interface for downloading the Norton Device Security.
  • Click Install, and then tap your finger over the Accept option to install the app.
  • As soon as the Installation ends, tap Open.
  • Read the Norton License Agreement and Terms of Use and Norton Mobile Privacy Policy thoroughly and then, Press the Accept button and then tap Sign in.
  • Enter your Norton account email id and password to continue with your Sign-In procedure.

Install Norton device security on iPhone or iPad

  • Launch the App Store on your iPhone or iPad.
